• Log in and fill in personal, academic and communication details.

NEST 2027 Preparation Tips

• Start with NCERT. Cover the Class 11 and 12 books for all four subjects, since the syllabus is expected to follow them.
• Practise previous year papers. Past NEST papers show how conceptual and multi-step the questions are.
• Do not skip Biology. Scores from the subject sections count towards merit, so build basics in all four subjects.
• Practise on the computer. The exam is computer-based, so use the official mock test when it is released.
• Manage time. The duration was cut to 3 hours in 2026, so time-bound practice matters.
• Track the official site. Check nestexam.in for the brochure, corrections and admit card updates.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Apply only through nestexam.in.
• Enter details exactly as in your school records, since errors may be hard to fix later.
• Keep your application number and password safe. They are used to log in, download the admit card and view the result.
• Carry the admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
