NFC has advertised 432 tentative vacancies for ITI Trade Apprentices across 16 trades. The trade-wise breakup along with the applicable stipend is given below. The above vacancies may increase or decrease based on office exigencies, as stated in the notification.

Candidates must have passed 10th standard and ITI in the respective/related trade to be eligible for the corresponding NFC apprentice post. The following conditions also apply: Candidates with post-graduation are not eligible to apply Candidates who have already undergone, or are currently undergoing, Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in any Government, PSU, or Private Organisation are not eligible to apply Candidates for Technician (ITI) Apprentice must have registered their names on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and can apply only through the portal

Selected candidates are entitled to a monthly stipend as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, based on their trade.

No application fee is specified in the notification for applying through the NAPS portal.

The age of the apprentice should not be less than 18 years as on the closing date of application. Selection is done through Walk-in-Interview; there is no written examination.
