The recruitment notification offers a total of 4 vacancies for Group-B Non-Teaching (Technical) posts. The post-wise and category-wise distribution is detailed below:

Candidates must meet the specific educational and experience requirements for each post as outlined below: Post Graduate Degree in the relevant discipline/subject from a recognized institution. The maximum age limit for all posts is not exceeding 35 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation and reservation benefits will be given to SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwD / Ex-Servicemen candidate(s) / Government Employee as per existing Central Government rules.

Appointments will be made on a long-term basis at appropriate pay scales as per the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. The Institute reserves the right to offer appointments initially on contract, which may be regularized based on performance and institutional requirements.

Selected candidates will be expected to handle academic and technical support, studio and laboratory coordination, equipment handling, and maintenance of tools and machinery. Specific duties include assisting faculty and students during practical classes and workshops, maintaining equipment logbooks, managing inventories, supporting institutional events and exhibitions, and contributing to technical infrastructure upkeep.

The selection process may include a written test followed by a trade test of proportionate weightage, or other screening methods as determined by the Institute. Candidates shortlisted based on essential and desirable qualifications will be called for the selection process. No TA/DA will be paid for attending written tests or trade tests, but second AC train fare reimbursement will be provided to shortlisted candidates attending personal interviews from their current workplace or hometown.
