Qualification / Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of application. | Essential Qualification: | Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level OR Master’s degree in English with Hindi as compulsory/elective subject OR Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English medium and relevant language subjects at degree level OR Recognized Diploma/Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English & vice versa AND Two years of experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices or PSUs. | Job Requirements: | Translation of official documents, publications, books, handbooks, brochures Proof reading of translations Implementation of Official Language Policy Organizing Hindi workshops and meetings Maintaining glossaries and terminology database
