NIT Silchar Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

The project title is "Design and development of low-cost hemodialysis machine with remote monitoring facility". The project intends to develop an AI-based indigenous dialysis machine.

The upper age limit is 28 years as on the closing date of application, 16.10.2026. However, relaxation in the age limit will be permitted based on experience and qualification.

The notification does not mention any application fee.

The selection process includes screening of applications by the Institute, followed by an interview. The Institute has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be short-listed for the interview on the basis of screening.

The position is purely temporary and initially appointed for one year, which may be extendable up to another one year solely based on performance. Employed candidates must submit a no objection certificate from their employer at the time of the interview. The interview date and mode (online/offline) will be notified in due course of time through email. Selected candidates shall have to sign an agreement at the time of joining. No candidate may be recruited if suitable candidates are not found.
