NPCIL Kudankulam Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 255 Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/TN) Posts

NPCIL KKNPP has announced a total of 255 vacancies for Category-II ST/TN posts. The category-wise distribution is given below.

Eligibility differs by post/discipline as follows: For both the above posts, candidates must have studied English as one of the subjects at least at the SSC (10th) level. NPCIL has specified separate, relaxed eligibility criteria for Project Affected Persons (PAP) whose land has been acquired for the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project: Plant Operator (PAP): Pass in HSC (12th Std) with not less than 40% marks in aggregate in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), with English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level. Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Electrician / Fitter / Turner / Machinist / Welder (PAP): Pass in SSC with Science and Mathematics and English as subjects at SSC level, with a 2-year ITI certificate. The age limit for ST/TN posts is 18 to 24 years. The specific reference date for age calculation is Not Available in the notification. PwBD relaxation is cumulative if the candidate also belongs to OBC(NCL) or SC/ST.

Selected candidates will undergo a 2-year training programme with the following stipend structure: First year: Rs. 20,000 per month Second year: Rs. 22,000 per month One-time book allowance: Rs. 3,000 (no other allowance is admissible during training) On successful completion of training, trainees will be absorbed for appointment as Technician-B in Level-3 of the pay matrix, with Basic Pay of Rs. 21,700 plus other applicable pay and allowances.
