Eligibility for NSU recruitment 2026 varies by post and includes educational qualification, relevant experience and, for most non-teaching posts, an upper age limit. Professor (Physical Education): Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) or Master in Physical Education and Sports (M.P.E.S) with minimum 55% marks; Ph.D. in a concerned/allied discipline with published work; minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor; minimum 10 research publications with a research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations 2018. Alternatively, an outstanding professional with a Ph.D. and 10 years of relevant experience may also apply. Associate Professor (Sports Medicine): MD/DNB (Sports Medicine) recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), or MS (Orthopaedics)/MD (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation)
