The Email ID entered in the online application form must remain valid for at least one year. No change in the Email ID will be allowed. All future correspondence will be sent by Email only.

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. All qualifications should be from Universities/Institutions recognized and approved in India. Online applications only – no other mode of application will be entertained. Applications with incomplete/insufficient documents are liable to be rejected/not considered for further process. Final year/semester students who expect results by 31.07.2026 may apply; however, selection is subject to submission of final/provisional degree on or before 31.07.2026. Category (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) once filled in the online application form will not be changed and no benefit of other category will be admissible later. Candidates must choose a test center/city for the online selection test; however, NTPC reserves the right to cancel or add any center depending on the response of candidates for that area/center. No change in test center will be entertained. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD – no cumulative relaxation. Before joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination by the NTPC Medical Board/Officer and their decision will be final and binding.
