Applicants must have passed the relevant CA or CMA Intermediate examination, secured at least 60% overall marks in Class 12 and been born on or after 1 January 2000. Candidates must satisfy all three conditions. Passing CA/CMA Intermediate alone is insufficient if the Class 12 percentage or date-of-birth requirement is not met.

Candidates should use the date of birth recorded in their Class 10 marksheet or certificate while completing the application.

The training period differs for CA and CMA candidates.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 27,000 , depending on the training location and applicable training year. Important: The stipend table specifies Year 1 and Year 2 rates. However, the CA training duration is 9-12 months and CMA training duration is 15-18 months. Candidates should not assume that every trainee will complete two full years or receive the Year 2 stipend. Leave will be governed by the respective ICAI or ICMAI rules and regulations. Selected trainees must make their own arrangements for boarding, lodging and travelling.

Assessment of prescribed educational eligibility. Consideration of the stated ONGC ward and first-attempt preference criteria. Interview, where conducted, through online, offline or telephonic mode. Final selection at the discretion of ONGC. The notification does not specify a separate written examination, minimum interview marks or detailed selection weightage. Candidates must attend any interview at their own expense.

ONGC has provided document-specific file formats and naming instructions. Applicants should prepare the following documents before opening the application form. ONGC requires document filenames to begin with the candidate's full name as recorded in the Class 10 certificate, followed by the relevant document suffix. For example, a candidate whose full name in the Class 10 certificate is "abcdef" would use filenames such as: abcdef_Photo.jpg abcdef_DOB.pdf abcdef_ID.pdf abcdef_Marksheet Group 1.pdf abcdef_Marksheet Group 2.pdf Applicants claiming the ONGC employee category must upload the relevant parent's or relative's ONGC Employee ID and provide the employee CPF number in the appropriate field of the Google Form.

Applicants must have passed CA or CMA Intermediate and secured at least 60% overall in Class 12. Candidates must have been born on or after 1 January 2000. The application must be submitted through the prescribed Google Form by 15 November 2026. Both CA/CMA Intermediate group marksheets, including failed attempts, must be uploaded separately. Preference will be given to ONGC wards and candidates who passed the examination on their first attempt. Interview may be conducted online, offline or telephonically. Candidates must bear their own interview expenses. Selected trainees must arrange their own accommodation, boarding and travel. ONGC reserves the right to make the final selection.
