Important Instructions

  • Appointment shall be on a regular basis carrying the level of pay as mentioned in the vacancy table; all posts are State Cadre posts and candidates may be asked to serve anywhere in Odisha. Candidates must have the requisite qualification for the post on the last date of submission of the Online Application Form (11-07-2026). Special category candidates must also have the necessary supporting documents by this date. Only one Online Application is allowed per candidate for any recruitment examination. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation of candidature and forfeiture of fee. After final submission of the corrected/final Online Application, no change/correction/modification will be allowed under any circumstances - requests through post, fax, e-mail or in person shall be summarily rejected. Candidates must write their Name, Date of Birth, Father's name and Mother's name exactly as given in the Matriculation Certificate. Marks sharing: Marks obtained in Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Computer Skill Test are proposed to be shared with the candidate after final merit list is published. Candidates who score more than the last selection mark at any tier/stage but are not qualified for the subsequent stage must represent to the Commission within 05 days of declaration of that result through e-mail [email protected]. Government servants (State/Central) or those working under PSUs/Government Universities/Autonomous Bodies must obtain and upload a "No Objection Certificate" from their controlling authority with the Online Application Form. If a standing order of NOC exists, the same should be uploaded. Candidates who hide their Govt. servant/PSU status during certificate verification may not be considered for recommendation. Admission to the examination at all stages is provisional. Copies of supporting documents will be sought at the Certificate Verification stage; if any claim in the application is found unsubstantiated, candidature will be cancelled. No Admission Letter shall be sent by post; candidates must download it from www.ossc.gov.in. There shall be no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of scores. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, spy cameras, and any other electronic/communication devices are not allowed inside the examination premises. The decision of the Commission in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode and conduct of examinations, allotment of examination centres, manner of selection and preparation of merit list and post allocation, and debarment for malpractices will be final and binding.
