12The selection process for both Register A-II and Register-C consists of four stages with a total of 100 marks:
13Stage 1 - Screening Test: A Common Screening Test will be conducted for both Register A-II and Register-C. However

- 1Eligible candidates must apply online through the official PPSC website before 30 June 2026.
- 2Step 1 - Register Online: Visit www.ppsc.gov.in and click on the relevant advertisement link (Advt. No. 20263 for Register A-II / Advt. No. 20264 for Register-C). Register using your details and note your Registration Number and Password.
- 3Step 2 - Upload Photo and Signature: Upload your color photograph and signature (file size: 10 KB to 40 KB each) in the designated section. This step is mandatory before proceeding to fee payment.
- 4Step 3 - Fill Application Form: Enter all required details carefully including personal information, service details, educational qualifications, category, and group. Verify all details before submitting as no changes will be allowed after fee payment.
- 5Step 4 - Pay Application Fee: Click "Pay Now" and pay the applicable fee via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or NEFT/RTGS. On successful payment, download and save the payment receipt. If the transaction shows "Pending" despite payment deduction, click "Verify Status" for reconciliation.
- 6Step 5 - Submit & Print Application: After successful fee payment, submit the application form. Take a printout of the complete application form and save the Application Number for future reference including Admit Card download.
- 7Step 6 - Submit Hard Copy through Proper Channel: Send the printed application form along with all required documents (Annexure A, B, C and certificates mentioned at clauses 5.4.1 to 5.4.9) through the Head of Department to the Office of PPSC, Baradari Gardens, Patiala - 147001 by 30 July 2026 (5:00 PM). Candidates with Blindness, Locomotor Disability (Both Arms Affected) or Cerebral Palsy are automatically entitled to scribe facility.
