Which Colleges Does the Extended Deadline Apply To?

The extended deadline covers admissions in the following categories of institutions affiliated with TGBIE:

• Government Junior Colleges
• Private Aided Junior Colleges
• Private Unaided Junior Colleges
• Co-operative Junior Colleges
• Telangana Residential Junior Colleges
• Telangana Social Welfare Residential Junior Colleges

New Rules and Compliance Instructions Issued by TGBIE

Along with the deadline extension, TGBIE has issued the following mandatory instructions to all affiliated junior colleges:

• For children of Jogini women, the mother's name must be recorded instead of the father's name, as reflected in the qualifying examination (Class 10) records.
• Institutions must provide adequate security arrangements for girl students.
• Every student and parent must submit a signed Anti-Drug Declaration at the time of admission.
• Colleges admitting Foreign Nationals or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must submit the candidate's Form-II details to the local police station within 24 hours of admission, in line with the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.

How to Apply for Telangana Class 11 Admission 2026

• Visit the official TGBIE website at tgbie.cgg.gov.in.
• For admission into Government Junior Colleges, use the Student Self-Enrolment Option available on the portal.
• Enter your SSC/Class 10 hall ticket number and required personal details.
• Select your preferred junior college and stream (MPC, BiPC, MEC/CEC, or an available vocational course).
• For Private Aided, Private Unaided, and other affiliated colleges, admission is generally processed through the respective college, which enters the student's details on the TGBIE college login/portal.
• Submit the signed Anti-Drug Declaration and any other documents requested by the college.
• Review all entered details carefully and complete the submission before August 15, 2026.

• Complete admission on or before August 15, 2026; further extensions, if any, have not been announced as of this update.
• Verify that the junior college is officially affiliated with TGBIE before finalising admission.
• Keep the Anti-Drug Declaration and all supporting documents ready at the time of admission.
• Parents of children of Jogini women should ensure the mother's name is used as recorded in the Class 10 qualifying documents.
• Colleges admitting Foreign Nationals/OCI students must complete the Form-II police reporting requirement within 24 hours.
