• Selection for engagement of technical personnel will be based on interview and medical examination. No written examination is conducted. Final empanelment is subject to verification of eligibility and medical fitness.
• Stage 1 - Interview
• Candidates who fulfill minimum eligibility criteria will be called for a personal interview. Interview schedules will be notified after the closing date via the RailTel official website and through email to registered candidates. No travelling expenses will be reimbursed for attending the interview.
• Stage 2 - Document Verification
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce original documents along with self-attested copies at the time of interview. Candidates failing to produce valid originals will not be allowed to proceed further.
• Stage 3 - Medical Examination
• Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a medical authority designated by RailTel Corporation. Candidates not meeting prescribed medical standards will not be considered for engagement.

• Candidates must apply offline only. No online application mode is available. Duly filled and signed application form (Annexure-II as per the notification), along with self-attested copies of all relevant enclosures, must be sent by post or courier so as to reach on or before 30-05-2026 during office hours. The envelope must be clearly superscribed: "APPLICATION FOR TECHNICAL FOR KSWAN PROJECT OF RAILTEL IN SOUTHERN REGION ON CONTRACT BASIS."

• Matriculation certificate (for age proof)
• Certificates and mark sheets in support of required educational/professional qualifications
• Experience certificate from current/previous employers indicating length of experience; if current employer's certificate is unavailable, appointment letter along with first and latest pay slips may be submitted
• Caste certificate in prescribed format for OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, and ST candidates
• Disability Certificate (for PwBD candidates)
• Copy of CV with complete employment history, duly signed with photograph
• Photo ID proof and address proof – Passport / Aadhaar Card / Driving License / PAN Card / Voter ID Card (issued by Central/State Govt.)
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) if currently working in any Govt./PSU or public body substantially funded by the Govt.

• THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT. Engagement is purely on a contractual basis for 05 years. RailTel has no obligation to offer regular employment after the contract period, nor shall the contractual employee claim any right to permanent absorption. Selected candidates must execute a Service Agreement at the time of joining for a period of one year. Failure to complete the said one-year period will attract a penalty equivalent to three months' gross salary in addition to the applicable notice period. A mandatory notice period of three months is required prior to resignation. Serving notice does not absolve the candidate from financial obligations under the Service Agreement. The contract may be terminated earlier due to non-availability of work, unsatisfactory performance, or administrative reasons at the discretion of the Competent Authority. The contractual engagement shall remain provisional subject to correctness and authenticity of all documents submitted, including caste certificates, experience certificates, and character/antecedent records. Any suppression of facts or false information at any stage will result in immediate termination without notice. No travelling expenses (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates for appearing in screening, interview, or medical examination.
