• Stage 1 Screening / Scrutiny of applications as per UGC Notification 18th July 2018
• Stage 2 Interview (shortlisting: max 15 candidates per post; 1:10 ratio for multiple posts)

• Selection will be as per UGC Notification 18th July 2018

• Applications must be submitted online through the HIMS Portal (https://hims.odisha.gov.in/) which will be available from 07.05.2026 onwards. Candidates must complete the application in all respects and upload all necessary supporting documents on or before 10.06.2026. The online application can be filled in multiple sessions. No other format of application or CV should be sent by email or any other means. In addition, a hard copy of the downloaded submitted application along with all relevant documents must be sent only via Speed Post to reach the University on or before 20.06.2026. Courier/ordinary post/hand delivery will not be accepted.

Only matriculation/SSC certificate/pass certificate issued by the concerned educational board will be accepted as proof of date of birth. Candidates above 60 years will not be eligible to apply. The period spent to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as research experience. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC) must submit proper caste certificates as per Government of Odisha guidelines and format. PWD candidates must submit Disability Certificates issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed by Government of Odisha. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately and pay the application fee for each post.
