The Rail Land Development Authority is a Statutory Authority of the Ministry of Railways, constituted in terms of the Extraordinary Gazette Notification dated 31.10.2006, with its office at Konnectus Tower-II, Ajmeri Gate, New Delhi. Terms of appointment: Normal deputation terms for all three items. Tenure: 5 years (3 years + 2 years). For Manager /Assistant Manager (Projects), the 4th and 5th year are extendable by VC/RLDA. JGM/DGM posts (Items 01 and 02): One scale higher than parent grade is permissible up to Pay Level-12, or deputation allowance if posted in the same grade.
