- The selection process for Sambalpur University Faculty Recruitment 2026 consists of screening/scrutiny in 3 (three) stages followed by an Interview. The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be displayed on the University website. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The screening/scrutiny and subsequent selection will be as per UGC Notification 18th July
- 2018 and supported by the Act & Statute of the University (Table 3A of Appendix II for Assistant Professor and Table 2 of Appendix II for Associate Professor and Professor). The selection committee composition will be as per Odisha University Act 1989 as amended from time to time.

The online application can be filled in multiple sessions. Candidates willing to apply for more than one post must apply separately and pay processing fee for each application. No other application or CV should be sent by email or any other means.
- After submitting the online application, candidates must download the PDF of the submitted application generated by the HIMS portal and send the hard copy along with all supporting documents via Registered Post/Speed Post to reach the University on or before 26-06-2026. If more than one application is submitted for the same post, only the application submitted last within the closing date shall be considered; partial applications are not acceptable.
