SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 1538 Posts

SBI has notified 1538 backlog vacancies across 21 states/UTs, reserved for SC, ST, and OBC candidates only. Candidates can apply for vacancies in only one State/UT, and merit lists will be drawn State-wise and category-wise. Candidates applying for a particular State/UT must be proficient in that State's specified local language, mentioned against each row below. $ Candidates applying for Maharashtra (Maharashtra Circle/Mumbai Metro Circle) or Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow Circle) should verify operational areas via SBI's Branch Locator on its official website. Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2026. Candidates must be not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2026 - i.e., born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive). Cumulative age relaxation is not available either within the above categories or in combination with any other item. No change in category is permitted after registration of the online application. The Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) post carries the following pay structure: Allowances may vary depending on the place of posting. Selected candidates will be eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, provident fund, pension under the New Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), medical benefits, leave-fare concession, and other facilities as per the Bank's instructions issued from time to time.

Selection consists of an online test (Preliminary and Main Examination) followed by a test of specified opted local language, where applicable. There is negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual sections or aggregate score. Approximately 10 times the number of vacancies in each category (subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Exam based on descending aggregate marks. Negative marking of 1/4th mark applies for each wrong answer. Candidates must score a minimum percentage of aggregate marks as decided by the Bank; no individual-subject qualifying marks are prescribed. Only Main Exam marks (not Preliminary Exam marks) count towards the final merit list.
