Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology is an Institution of National Importance under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Biomedical Technology Wing located at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram has issued this recruitment notification for hiring a Project Scientist (Professional) to work on software development and web development tools for the Institute (TDF) funded digital health initiative project.

B.E / B.Tech Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology with 60% marks Experience in software development using PHP 35 years as on 01.11.2026.

Monthly emoluments are Rs.20,000/- + 20% HRA. The appointment is initially for a period upto 21.09.2027, likely to be extended upto 21.09.2028.

The applications will be screened and eligible candidates will be called for a Written Test and Interview to be conducted at the Biomedical Technology Wing of the Institute at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 012. Intimation regarding the schedule of written test & interview will be sent to their email id provided in the ONLINE application form. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
