Step 2Based on aggregate performance in Paper-I and Paper-II of Part-I, candidates will be shortlisted for evaluation of record of service (Part-II). Candidates not qualifying Part-I aggregate will not be eligible for Part-II evaluation.
Step 3Final selection will be made on the basis of aggregate performance of candidates in Paper-I (CBE) + Paper-II (Descriptive) of Part-I and Part-II (APAR Evaluation). The Commission may fix minimum qualifying marks individually for Paper-I and Paper-II of Part-I.

  • 11A candidate who resigns, quits service, or whose services are terminated after applying will not be eligible for appointment on the result of this examination.
  • 12No change in entries made in the online application form shall be allowed at any stage under any circumstances.
  • 13The examination shall be conducted in Delhi NCR only; no centre will be at any Indian mission abroad. Candidates serving abroad will have to appear in India at their own expense.
  • 14Admission Certificate for CBE will be issued online by uploading on the website of the Northern Regional Office; it will not be issued by post. Candidates are advised to regularly visit https://sscnr.nic.in.
  • 15Candidates must carry their Departmental Identity Card (Original) along with hard copy of Admission Certificate for appearing in the examination.
  • 16Candidates who have not undergone Aadhaar Based Authentication must carry at least two passport size recent colour photographs and Original valid Photo-ID proof with Date of Birth at the examination centre.
  • 17There is no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of scores of any stage/paper(s) of the Examination; no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
  • 18Tentative Answer Keys of CBE will be placed on the SSC website after the examination; candidates can submit online representations within the time limit on payment of Rs. 50/- per question (non-refundable).
  • 19Candidates are advised to opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication during the OTR process.
  • 20The appearance of a candidate at the examination must match the photograph in the application form - no change in appearance is permitted.
