STPI Apprentice Trainee eligibility 2026 is based on educational qualification in one of two discipline groups, along with the prescribed age limit. Only candidates who have completed their Degree/Diploma qualification in June 2021 or thereafter shall be considered for engagement as Apprentice Trainee. Selected Apprentice Trainees will receive a monthly stipend based on their qualification: B.E/B.Tech candidates: Rs. 15,000/- per month Bachelor in Arts/Commerce/Administration, etc.: Rs. 12,300/- per month The Screening-cum-Selection Committee may offer a higher stipend, up to Rs. 20,000/- per month, based on the candidate's performance in the interview. The stipend payable to apprentices will be facilitated through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism - the admissible Government share of stipend will be directly credited to the apprentices' bank accounts through the NATS portal after successful registration on the NATS Portal for DBT.
