STPI Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 10 Assistant, Administrative Officer and More Posts

The notification lists 10 vacancies across five posts, with category-wise and location-wise distribution as given below. Note: Out of the 03 vacancies in Sl. No. 1 & 2 (Administrative Officer and MTSS ES-V), 01 vacancy is reserved for PH(VH). Out of the 07 vacancies in Sl. No. 3, 4 & 5 (MTSS ES-IV, Assistant and Office Attendant), 03 vacancies are reserved for PH (02-VH & 01-MD). The number of posts is provisional and STPI reserves the right not to fill any vacancy.

Separate qualification and service conditions apply for candidates applying through the Absorption route; these are detailed post-wise in the official notification. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for candidates already working in Government/STPI on a regular basis, and for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- per application. No fee is required from female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable. The exact mode and process of payment is specified on the online application portal at www.stpi.in .

Pay is as per the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix applicable to each post, ranging from Level 1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900) for Office Attendant up to Level 7 (Rs. 44,900-142,400) for Administrative Officer. The notification does not specify additional allowances separately; these would be as per applicable Government/STPI rules.

Selection for all posts is through a Written Examination; candidates for Office Attendant (S-I) must additionally clear a Skill Test. Only screened-in candidates (based on the completed online application) are called for the written exam. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks for final selection/merit are 50% for General category, 45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST, with an additional 5% relaxation for PWD candidates in their respective category. Examination centres are Delhi/NCR and Bengaluru. The detailed syllabus is provided as Annexure-I of the official notification.

Appointment on Direct Recruitment/Absorption basis carries a probation period of two years. Selected candidates are liable to be posted at any STPI centre. Candidates are advised to ensure the accuracy of their category claim, as unsupported claims will lead to cancellation of candidature. Canvassing in any form will make the candidature liable for rejection. Any litigation arising from this recruitment is subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
