Telangana Public Service Commission is recruiting 222 Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) posts with B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering qualification, last date 13 July 2026.

A total of 222 provisional vacancies have been announced for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) in Transport, Roads and Buildings Department. These are distributed across Multi Zone-I and Multi Zone-II with reservations for OC, EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, SC, ST and horizontal reservation for Sports and Persons with Disabilities (VH, HH, OH, MH). Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the date of notification (02/06/2026). Only candidates who have registered OTR on the TGPSC website are eligible to apply. Applicants belonging to other States are not entitled to any kind of reservation.

Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years and maximum of 44 years as on 01/07/2026. (Note: As per G.O.Ms.No.86, G.A.(Ser.A) Dept., Dt.18/05/2026, the upper age limit has been raised by 10 years from 34 years to 44 years.) Maximum age indicated is for Unreserved (OC) candidates. No person shall be eligible if he/she has reached superannuation age after availing eligible age relaxations as on 01/07/2026.

Candidates are required to pay non-refundable Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee through online mode only. The fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Unless full payment of both fees (wherever applicable) is made, the candidature will not be considered.

Selection will be made through Written Examination (Objective Type) conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test) or OMR-based Offline mode, as decided by the Commission. The mode of examination will be notified through web note/press note and in the Hall Ticket. Final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness. There shall be no waiting list. Stage 1 – Written Examination (Objective Type) The examination consists of two papers totalling 450 marks. Paper-I is General Studies and General Abilities (150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes) in bilingual (English & Telugu). The objective type examination will be held at the following centres (subject to change by the Commission). Request for change of centre will not be entertained.

Candidates who do not hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil) from a UGC/AICTE recognized University/Institution as on 02/06/2026. Other engineering branches are not eligible. Candidates whose Civil Engineering degree result had not been declared by the concerned University as on 02/06/2026, even if the examination was conducted or result processing was in progress. Candidates whose Civil Engineering degree was obtained through Open University / Distance Education mode without UGC / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau recognition.
