Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions as on the date of Notification i.e., 05/06/2026. The result of requisite educational qualification must have been declared by the concerned University as on the date of notification. Mere possession of the minimum educational qualification does not guarantee selection.

The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2026 as per Rule 12(1)(a)(v) of Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 44 years (upper age limit raised by 10 years as per G.O.Ms.No.86, G.A.(Ser.A) Dept., Dt. 18/05/2026). Age relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.

The application fee includes both Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee, to be paid online only and is non-refundable. Unless full payment of both fees is made, the candidature will not be considered.

Selection will be made through a Written Examination (Objective Type) conducted either in OMR-based Offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode. The mode of examination will be notified through web note / press note and also on the Hall Ticket. Stage 1 - Written Examination (Objective Type) The examination consists of two papers totalling 450 marks. Paper-I covers General Studies and General Abilities (150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes). Paper-II covers Basic Foundations of Education (Part A: 75 marks) and Educational Leadership, Administration and Management (Part B: 75 marks), totalling 150 marks in 150 minutes. The examination is bilingual (English and Telugu). Qualifying marks: OC/Sports/EWS - 40%, BC - 35%, SC/ST/PH - 30%. Candidates who do not possess both a Bachelor’s Degree (with B.Ed.-eligible subjects) AND a Post Graduate Degree with the required minimum percentage of marks. Candidates whose qualifying examination result was not declared by the concerned University as on 05/06/2026. Candidates expecting reservation benefits without valid category certificates in the prescribed format issued by Telangana Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Tahsildar. BC candidates belonging to the Creamy Layer. Candidates from other states claiming reservation benefits - out-of-state candidates are not entitled to any reservation under Telangana rules. Candidates who have obtained degrees through Open/Distance Education mode that are not recognised by UGC / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau. Candidates who cannot satisfy the local candidature requirement applicable to Multi Zone-I or Multi Zone-II posts.

Online applications are open from 12/06/2026 to 19/07/2026 up to 5:00 PM. The Commission reserves the right to conduct the examination in OMR-based Offline mode or CBRT mode; mode will be notified on Hall Ticket. All eligibility conditions will be determined as on 05/06/2026 (date of notification). Candidates must regularly visit the TGPSC website for updates - no individual correspondence will be sent under any circumstances. Incorrect or false information in the application may lead to debarment from all future TGPSC examinations. After publication of results, candidates can obtain their Memorandum of Marks online on payment of Rs. 200/- within 30 days. Revaluation will not be undertaken. Electronic gadgets including mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, and Bluetooth devices are strictly banned at the examination venue. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. The applica
