TGPSC Deputy Educational Officers / Head Master Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 24 Posts

The last date to submit the online application for TGPSC DEO / Gazetted Head Master Grade-I Recruitment 2026 is 19/07/2026 up to 5:00 PM. Candidates are advised not to wait till the last date and submit their applications well in advance.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC-recognised University with subjects eligible for B.Ed. admission, AND a Post Graduate Degree with minimum 55% marks from a UGC-recognised University. For SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, the minimum percentage is relaxed to 50%.

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 44 years as on 01/07/2026. The upper age limit has been raised by 10 years (from 34 to 44 years) as per G.O.Ms.No.86, G.A.(Ser.A) Dept., Dt. 18/05/2026. Age relaxation of 5 years is available for SC/ST/BC/EWS, 10 years for PH, and up to 5 years for Telangana State Government Employees.

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 58,850 – 1,37,050/- (Cadre/Level 10 to 14 as per the 7th Pay Commission), along with applicable Dearness Allowance and other allowances as per Telangana Government rules.

Candidates must apply online only through the official TGPSC website at https://www.tgpsc.gov.in. First-time applicants must register through One Time Registration (OTR) to obtain a TGPSC ID. Existing users can directly login with their TGPSC ID and Date of Birth, fill the application form, pay the fee online, and download the PDF application before 19/07/2026 up to 5:00 PM.

The application processing fee is Rs. 1,000/- for OC & BC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. An additional examination fee of Rs. 120/- is applicable for all employed candidates. Unemployed candidates are exempted from the examination fee. Both fees are non-refundable.

Selection will be based on a Written Examination (Objective Type) conducted in CBRT or OMR mode, consisting of two papers totalling 450 marks. Candidates must secure qualifying marks (40% for OC/EWS/Sports, 35% for BC, 30% for SC/ST/PH). Final selection will be based on merit rank in the merit list against vacancies available zone-wise. Appearance in all papers is compulsory.

The examination is tentatively scheduled for October 2026. The exact date will be notified separately by TGPSC on its official website https://www.tgpsc.gov.in. Hall Tickets will be available for download 7 days prior to the examination date. No individual communication will be sent.
