TMC Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for Senior Resident/Junior Resident Posts

Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, invites applications from Indian Nationals for positions in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre, Varanasi. These positions are tenured based positions for a fixed period up to one year, further extendable subject to centre requirements.

The total number of advertised vacancies for the Department of Anaesthesiology is 5 posts.

All Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Super-Specialty degrees must be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is mandatory for all candidates selected and appointed to HBCH/MPMMCC, Varanasi, to be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council, as applicable. Candidates whose results are awaited may apply, but they must produce proof of passing the required degree at the time of the MCQ/Interview.

The advertised posts are tenured based positions for a fixed period of up to one year, which is further extendable subject to the requirements of the centre. Selected candidates are also required to pay a security/caution deposit as follows: Senior Resident I (Rs. 1,33,623/-), Senior Resident II (Rs. 1,36,269/-), Senior Resident III (Rs. 1,40,238/-), and Junior Resident III (Rs. 1,17,747/-).

The maximum age limit is 45 years , reckoned as on 06.11.2026.

The application fee shall be paid online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

The selection process includes an MCQ Examination which may be conducted before the interview for shortlisting purposes. The Dean (Academics), HBCH/MPMMCC, Varanasi, holds the discretion to decide. The decision of the Dean (Academics), HBCH/MPMMCC, Varanasi, shall be final.

Candidates currently employed with Government or Government-related organizations must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer through the Head of their Institution/Department, upload it as part of the online application, and produce the original NOC at the time of the MCQ test/Interview. No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Dearness Allowance) is admissible for candidates appearing for the MCQ test or interview.
