TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026 - 7112 Vacancies, Apply Online

A total of 7,112 vacancies have been notified under TSLPRB Recruitment 2026. The vacancies are distributed among the Telangana Police Department, Telangana Special Protection Force Department, Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Department, and Telangana Prisons & Correctional Services Department. The number of vacancies is tentative and may change during the recruitment process.

Candidates interested in TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the educational qualification, age, gender, physical and other eligibility requirements applicable to their selected post. Candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 29 July 2026 . Candidates possessing qualifications higher than the prescribed Intermediate qualification will also be considered on par with candidates possessing the required qualification. For Post Code 26 - Fire Fighter , candidates must additionally possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence as on the date of notification.

For Post Codes 21 to 23, 25, 26, 27 and 28 , the prescribed basic age requirement is 18 to below 22 years as on 01 July 2026 . However, the Government of Telangana has provided an additional relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for direct recruitment to uniformed services, including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments. Further category-wise and special-category age relaxations apply as prescribed in the official notification. Candidates should check the age conditions applicable to their category before applying.

The notified posts carry a pay scale of Rs. 24,280-72,850 .

The application fee amount will be determined through the TSLPRB online application system based on the post or posts selected by the candidate. OC and BC candidates with Telangana local status have to pay the fee designated in the online application. Local SC and ST candidates of Telangana will pay the applicable concessional fee. Other candidates must pay the fee designated by the online application system. Candidates applying for multiple eligible posts may receive the applicable fee rebate as prescribed in the notification. The application fee can be paid using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or other payment methods made available on the TSLPRB website . Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Important: TSLPRB has clearly stated that the exact dates for submission of the Online Application Form will be intimated in due course through a separate press release. Candidates should not treat the notification date as the application start date.

The TSLPRB Police Constable selection process includes written examinations, physical tests and certificate verification. Candidates must qualify at the applicable stages of the recruitment process.
