Age Limit

DetailsAge is calculated as on 01 July, 2026. Candidates must have been born not later than 01 July 2005 and not earlier than 02 July 1984 (both days inclusive) for General/UR category. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Uttarakhand Government orders for reserved categories.

Important Instructions

  • Each Aadhaar number can be used only once for registration. Candidates must use their own mobile number and email ID in the online application. Note down your Registration Number after successful registration - it is required for all future login and processes. Information filled in the online application will be treated as final. No changes/modifications to name, mother's/father's name, age, or examination centre will be permitted after submission. If a candidate fills in partial name changes or multiple online applications, legal action will be initiated against them. Do not apply on the last date - excessive web traffic on closing days may prevent submission of applications. The application is considered complete only when "Completed" is printed in the Status column of the online application form, and the fee has been received in the Commission's account before the last date. Candidates must ensure they hold all mandatory educational and other qualifications as on the last date of online application. After the written examination, document verification is a mandatory stage where all reservation/educational/preferential eligibility certificates are verified. Candidature will be cancelled if found ineligible at any stage. Candidates who misrepresent facts, use unfair means, copy from others, or assist others in copying during the examination will be debarred from all future UKSSSC examinations and an FIR will be registered. Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, pagers, scanners, earphones, or any electronic/communication device are NOT allowed inside the examination premises. Candidates are advised not to bring such items to the exam centre as security cannot be guaranteed. All instructions given during security check at the examination centre must be followed mandatorily. OBC candidates from the Creamy Layer must apply under UR (Unreserved) category; they are not entitled to OBC reservation or relaxation. If a candidate claims reservation in more than one sub-category, they will be eligible for the benefit of only one sub-category - the most beneficial one - provided they submit valid proof for that category. All revisions/corrigenda (if any) will be hosted on the Commission's website only - candidates should visit www.sssc.uk.gov.in regularly. Action under the Uttarakhand Competitive Examinations (Measures for Prevention and Prohibition of Unfair Means) Act, 2023 will be taken against candidates using unfair means. No request for change of examination centre shall be entertained. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. The Commission does not advise candidates regarding their eligibility. Candidates must read the advertisement carefully and apply only when fully satisfied that they meet all conditions.
