• Stage 1 - Merit List (Based on Combined Academic Marks)
• A merit list will be prepared in descending order of combined marks from all qualifying examinations: Intermediate + Graduation + Post Graduation (total marks of all examinations added together). Candidates must correctly enter marks for each examination at the time of application. If two or more candidates have equal combined marks
• the older candidate is given priority. If marks AND age are equal
• the candidate with higher educational qualification is given priority.
• Stage 2 - Selection Priority (Chayan ki Variyata)

• the following priority order applies for each Gram Sabha / Ward:
• Priority 1: Widow / legally divorced / deserted (Parityakta) woman from a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family of the same Gram Sabha / Ward. Priority 2: If Priority 1 not available - any woman from a BPL family of the same Gram Sabha / Ward. Priority 3: If Priority 2 not available - Widow / legally divorced / deserted woman from an Above Poverty Line (APL) family of the same Gram Sabha / Ward. Priority 4: If Priority 3 not available - any woman from an APL family of the same Gram Sabha / Ward. Priority 5: If no eligible candidate found in the same Gram Sabha under any of the above categories - category-wise selection from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat (same priority order).
• Valid documents for Widow status: Death Certificate issued by Gram Panchayat Officer / concerned Urban Local Body and certified copy of Family Register. For divorced / deserted women: valid legal order issued by the competent Court.
• Stage 3 - Document Verification
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. All original documents and self-attested clean
• readable photocopies must be produced. Documents not matching the online application will lead to cancellation. Forged / tampered documents will result in cancellation of candidature and legal action.

The application form must be filled correctly and completely in the format available on the departmental website.
