UP Kasganj Anganwadi AWW Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 208 Anganwadi Worker Posts

The recruitment offers a total of 208 vacancies distributed across various Child Development Projects (Blocks) in Kasganj district. The highest number of vacancies is available in Soro block with 51 posts, followed by Ganjdundwara with 36 posts.

Gender: Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the Anganwadi Worker position. Residence: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha (for rural areas) or Ward (for urban areas) where the vacancy exists. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is Intermediate (Class 12) or its equivalent from a recognized board. The maximum educational qualification considered for merit is up to Post-Graduation. Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 35 years as on 1 July 2026. Income Criteria & Priorities: Preference is given to widows, legally divorced women, and abandoned women living below the poverty line within the same Gram Sabha/Ward. If no such candidate is available, candidates from families living below the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward are considered. Subsequent priorities apply to higher income brackets

Selection is carried out through a direct recruitment process based on merit. The merit list is prepared according to the percentage of marks obtained in educational qualifications ranging from High School up to Post-Graduation.
