UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 covers admission to MBBS and BDS seats in government and private medical and dental colleges across Uttar Pradesh. DGME UP conducts counselling for 85 percent of state quota seats in government colleges and 100 percent of seats in private and minority institutions. The remaining 15 percent of government seats are filled through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at the all-India level. The exact number of seats available college-wise and category-wise will be published in the official seat matrix, which is not available yet.

• Once choices are locked on the portal, they typically cannot be edited for that round review your preference order carefully before locking.

• There is generally no upper limit on the number of choices you can add adding more choices increases the chance of allotment.
