UP NEET UG Round 1 Cutoff 2026 - Important Instructions

Candidates checking or acting on the UP NEET UG Round 1 MBBS cutoff should keep the following points in mind:

• Always verify the cutoff for your own category (General/EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PwD) and quota, not just the General-category figures - closing ranks differ significantly by category.
• A closing rank applies only to a specific combination of college, course, category, quota, and round. Do not assume the same rank will qualify for a different college or a different round.
• Rely only on the official UP NEET counselling portal, upneet.gov.in, for your allotment status and cutoff details. Cross-check any figures seen elsewhere against the official portal before making decisions.
• If you have been allotted a seat in Round 1, complete the reporting/admission formalities within the deadline prescribed by DGME, Uttar Pradesh on the official portal.
• Round 1 closing ranks are not a guarantee of the same or similar cutoff in Round 2, since ranks can shift as seats vacate or fill.
• Keep your NEET UG scorecard, rank letter, and other counselling documents ready in case they are required for verification or reporting, as specified by the official notification.
• Regularly check the official portal for updates on Round 2 registration, choice filling, choice locking, and seat allotment, since specific Round 2 dates have not been announced as per the information available at the time of writing.
• Avoid relying on unofficial websites, social media posts, or coaching-institute estimates for final cutoff figures; treat the official DGME/UP NEET portal as the only authoritative source.
