Selection Process – UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern 2026

The UPPSC PCS 2026 selection process consists of three successive stages: Preliminary Examination, Main (Written) Examination, and Viva-Voce (Interview). The final merit is based on the combined score of the Main Examination and Interview marks. For some posts specified in the service rules, selection is based only on the written examination without an interview. Two compulsory papers, each of 200 marks and 2 hours duration.
