UPPSC Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 1156 Medical Professor & Assistant Professor Posts

A total of 1156 vacancies have been notified - 44 for Professor and 1112 for Assistant Professor - across General Recruitment and Special Recruitment categories in various medical specialties. The number of vacancies of all mentioned posts may increase/decrease depending on circumstances/requirements. Only those candidates who possess the requisite qualification acquired from a recognized university/institution at the time of applying, and who hold the essential qualification till the last date of receipt of the online application, are eligible. Under the "Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (Direct Recruitment through Screening Examination) Regulations, 2025," the Commission may hold a Screening Examination for selection of candidates for interview. Only candidates who qualify in the Screening Examination will be entitled to an Interview. The final merit order is determined by adding 75% marks in the screening test and 25% marks in the interview .
