After Allotment: What to Do Next

Candidates who receive a seat in Special Round 2 typically need to act within a short, fixed window to confirm their admission. Based on how UPTAC's regular rounds have operated in 2026, this usually involves:

• Paying the seat confirmation/acceptance fee within the deadline shown on the portal.
• Reporting physically (or as instructed) to the allotted institute within the specified reporting period.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Special Round 2 is understood to be the final counselling round in the UPTAC 2026 cycle; candidates should treat any seat offered here as likely to be their last opportunity through UPTAC for the current session.
• Keep scanned copies of all documents ready in the specified format before choice locking, to avoid delays in verification.
• Regularly check the registered email and SMS for updates, since correction windows (if any) are typically communicated this way.
• Do not wait until the last date to pay fees or complete verification, as portal traffic can cause delays close to deadlines.
• Cross-check every date on this page against the live notice on uptac.samarth.edu.in, since AKTU has revised the Special Round schedule more than once during the 2026 cycle.
