No other format of application or CV will be accepted by email or any other means.

The envelope must be superscribed "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ASSISTANT PROFESSOR]" along with Advertisement No. and Date.

Applications are open to eligible Indian Citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) as per UGC eligibility criteria. Candidates above 60 years of age are not eligible to apply. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post and pay the applicable fee for each. Application fee is non-refundable; applications without fee will be summarily rejected. No hard copy will be considered if the applicant fails to submit the online application by the closing date. The period spent acquiring M.Phil. or Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as research experience. Publications in predatory/dubious journals or presentations in predatory/dubious conferences will not be considered at any point in the selection process. Any entry/claim made in the application without supporting documents will not be counted towards the score claimed for the position applied. Only the Matriculation/SSC certificate issued by the concerned educational board will be accepted for date of birth verification. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/SEBC) must be domiciles/permanent residents of Odisha for availing reservation benefits. Candidates should produce all self-attested documents at the time of interview; only the HIMS portal downloaded application form is acceptable for hardcopy.
