VMC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for Trade Apprentice Posts

The table below lists all 18 trades and the qualification required for each, as per the notification.

Candidates must hold the qualification specified for their chosen trade in the table above. The Office Assistant trade (S. No. 18) is open to female candidates only, with an age limit of 18 to 28 years. Age limit for the remaining 17 trades is not specified in this notification. Candidates are engaged as trainee apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961; local (Vadodara) candidates are given priority in engagement.

Apprentices engaged under the Apprentices Act, 1961, will receive a stipend as per the rules prescribed under that Act. Specific stipend amounts for each trade are not stated in this notification.

Candidates engaged under the Apprentices Act, 1961, are covered by its stipend and other applicable rules.
