The recruitment notification offers a total of 1 post for Project Associate-I (PA-I) under the ANRF funded research project in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.

Candidates must meet the essential educational qualifications specified for the Project Associate-I post to be eligible for consideration. Essential Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech. or B.E/B.Tech with First class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Equivalent with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized university / institute. Desired Qualification: Overall good academic record, sound analytical skills and knowledge of python programming. Fellowship Criteria: Rs. 37,000/- for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET or GATE, or a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Rs. 30,000/- for others who do not fall under this category.

The post is purely temporary in nature. Initial appointment is for the period of one year, which can be extended up to June 2028 solely based on satisfactory performance (maximum till project end date). The fellowship amount is Rs. 37,000/- per month for candidates qualified through CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or national level examinations, and Rs. 30,000/- per month for other candidates.

The project involves implementing an Artificial Intelligence method for an Intelligent Detection and Mitigation of cyber-attacks that ensure both data confidentiality and access control with streamlining the encryption process.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. The decision of the Director, VNIT Nagpur will be final in all respects.
