Important Instructions for WB NEET UG Counselling 2026

• Always use the official WBMCC portal, wbmcc.nic.in, for registration, choice filling, and checking results - avoid third-party or unofficial links.
• Complete choice locking well before the deadline; forgetting to click "Lock Choices" can result in the system considering only the choices filled, or no choices at all, depending on the round's rules.
• Keep all original documents, demand drafts, and photocopies ready in advance of the physical reporting deadline for each round.
• Candidates who do not report within the stipulated window after being allotted a seat, or who fail to join after the Stray Vacancy Round, may be treated as having forfeited the seat and, in some cases, be barred from further participation - refer to the official bulletin for exact forfeiture and penalty rules.
• Monitor the WBMCC notice board regularly, since counselling schedules - including Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round dates - are frequently revised.
