Who Can Apply: WBJEE BPharm Counselling Eligibility

Candidates with a valid WBJEE Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) are eligible to participate in this counselling round for BPharm admission. Based on past WBJEEB practice, JEE Main-qualified candidates are also typically eligible for a share of seats in self-financing (private) pharmacy institutes, but this has not yet been separately confirmed for the 2026 BPharm round in the schedule notice reviewed for this article candidates should verify this in the detailed notification once published.

Candidates who have already taken admission through the WBJEE 2026 engineering/technology counselling round are also permitted to register and participate in the BPharm counselling round.

Participating Institutes for BPharm Admission

Government-level seats for BPharm in West Bengal are currently limited to two institutions:

• Jalpaiguri Government Institute of Pharmacy
• Jadavpur University (Department of Pharmaceutical Technology)

In addition to these government institutes, a number of approved self-financing (private) pharmacy colleges across West Bengal also offer admission through this same centralised counselling process. How to Register for WBJEE BPharm Counselling 2026

• Visit the official WBJEEB website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
• Locate and click on the WBJEE BPharm Counselling 2026 registration link (active from August 7, 2026).
• Log in using your WBJEE application number/roll number and password.
• Complete registration and pay the counselling registration fee online (fee details to be confirmed in the detailed notification).
• Fill choices of institutes and courses in order of preference.
• Review and lock your choices within the August 7- 9, 2026 window.
• Download or save the confirmation/acknowledgement page for future reference.
