DetailsNationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India or such other nationals as declared eligible by the Govt. of India. | Essential Educational Qualification (as on closing date) | A degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali). Knowledge of Bengali will be tested at the time of Personality Test for candidates whose mother tongue is other than Bengali/Nepali. | N.B. : Candidates must fulfill the requisite qualifications by the closing date of submission of application. | Crucial date: 01.01.2024 | Not below 20 years but not more than 39 years (i.e., born not earlier than 02.01.1985 and not later than 01.01.2004). | Age Relaxation: | SC & ST of West Bengal: 5 years OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) of West Bengal: 3 years Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Up to 45 years No relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates of other States (treated as General) | N.B. : Age as recorded only in the Madhyamik or equivalent certificate will be accepted.
