Age Relaxation

A typing proficiency test is conducted – candidates type a 15-minute dictated passage in both Kannada and English on a typewriter/computer, as directed. The proficiency test carries a maximum of 100 marks each in Kannada and English; a candidate must score at least 50 marks in each language to qualify. An interview carrying 10 marks follows for qualified candidates; final selection is based on marks obtained in the interview. Merit rank is based on the percentage of marks scored in the SSLC or equivalent qualifying examination.
