A selection committee will run the selection on merit out of 100 marks. Marks come from your qualification percentage, a computer practical test, experience and, for the Computer Programmer post, knowledge of the listed technologies. If many applications arrive, 10 applicants per post will be called for the skill test or interview, in order of merit. Marks for qualification, experience and the skill test are added together. The candidate with the highest total will be appointed. A candidate who does not attend the computer practical test loses their candidature automatically. If a marksheet shows a grade instead of a percentage, the average percentage of that grade is used. For example, an A grade in Class 12 covering 80 to 90 percent is counted as 85 percent.
