About JEE Main 2026 Admit Card

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main Admit Card 2026 for Session 1 on January 17, 2026. The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is India's premier engineering entrance examination, serving as the gateway to prestigious institutions including NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other government-funded technical institutes.

The JEE Main 2026 Hall Ticket is an essential document that every candidate must carry to the examination center. Without a valid admit card, candidates will NOT be allowed entry into the exam hall, regardless of having other identification documents.

Important Notice: All candidates must download and carry a clear printed copy of their admit card along with a self-declaration form and valid photo ID to the examination center. Digital copies or mobile displays are NOT accepted.

How to Download JEE Main Admit Card 2026 - Step by Step Guide

Follow these simple steps to download your JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card:

• Visit Official Website: Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Locate Download Link: On the homepage, click on the link titled "Admit Card for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-I]" or similar notification
• Access Login Portal: You will be redirected to the candidate login page
• Enter Credentials: Application Number: Your unique registration number, Password or Date of Birth: Choose preferred login method, Security Code: Enter the captcha displayed
• Submit Details: Click on "Submit" or "Sign In" button
• Download Admit Card: Your JEE Main 2026 Admit Card will appear on screen
• Verify Details: Carefully check all information including: Name spelling and photograph, Exam center address, Exam date, shift, and paper type, Reporting time
• Print Multiple Copies: Download PDF and take at least 2-3 clear printouts

JEE Main 2026 Shift Timings & Reporting Schedule

JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two shifts daily (except for Paper 2). Candidates must report at least 2 hours before exam commencement. Here's the detailed schedule:

Note: Gates close at 8:30 AM (Shift 1) and 2:30 PM (Shift 2) sharp. Late candidates will NOT be allowed entry under any circumstances. Plan to reach at least 30-45 minutes before gate closing time.
