AEES has announced 254 tentative vacancies across teaching, school leadership and library positions. The largest number of vacancies is for Primary Teacher, with 89 posts. PwBD Reservation: Twelve vacancies are identified for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities under horizontal reservation. These vacancies are included within the total of 254 and must not be added separately. All vacancy figures are tentative and may increase or decrease according to AEES requirements. The Atomic Energy Education Society has issued Recruitment Notification 01/2026 for 254 posts across its schools in India. The detailed notification includes category-wise and subject-wise vacancies, academic qualifications, age relaxation, selection rules, application fees, examination patterns and document requirements. Applicants must satisfy the prescribed educational qualification, teacher-training requirements, CTET conditions and experience rules for their selected post. The notification provides different eligibility routes for school leadership, postgraduate teaching and primary-level teaching positions. The maximum age varies from 30 to 50 years depending on the post. Principal and Vice-Principal positions also have a minimum age requirement of 35 years. All candidates must be at least 18 years old. Age and eligibility will be calculated with reference to the original online application closing date, even if that date is subsequently extended. Important: Age concessions are concurrent, not cumulative. Candidates eligible for multiple concessions will receive only the highest permissible relaxation. The separate women-candidate relaxation does not apply to Principal or Vice-Principal posts.

AEES posts carry pay scales under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, ranging from Level 6 to Level 12 . The listed amounts are pay scales, not fixed in-hand salaries. Actual monthly earnings will depend on the applicable pay level, allowances and deductions.

The application fee is Rs. 750 plus Rs. 250 processing fee for non-exempt candidates. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen applicants are exempted from the application fee but must pay the processing fee. Note: Applicable GST charged by the bank is additional. Payment can be made online using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Fees paid through other modes are not accepted, and application fees once remitted are non-refundable. Candidates applying for multiple permitted posts must pay the requisite fee separately for each post.

Selection includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by an Interview for Principal and Vice-Principal or a qualifying Skill Test for other posts. The Computer Based Test is tentatively planned across multiple cities in India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Pune and other listed centres. AEES may change, cancel or reallocate examination centres according to administrative requirements. The Skill Test and Interview will be conducted at AEES, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai .

Candidates must upload scanned documents relevant to their selected post and produce the required originals and self-attested copies during verification. The recruitment is for 254 tentative vacancies under Notification 01/2026. Applications are accepted online through the dedicated AEES portal only. The online application window is 2 November to 22 November 2026. Post-specific qualifications and CTET requirements must be satisfied by the prescribed eligibility cut-off. Applicants can select only one subject within the PGT category and only one subject within the TGT category. Separate fees apply when applying for different permitted posts. CBT carries no negative marking. Principal and Vice-Principal selection uses CBT and Interview marks with 50:50 weightage. Other notified posts require a qualifying Go / No Go Skill Test after CBT.
