The appointment entitles the appointee to a remuneration as per pay-scale Level – 10 of the Matrix (Pre-revised PB-3, entry pay of ₹ 56,100/- PM + usual allowance). Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) is applicable for medical candidates only. Leave entitlement follows the Central Residency Scheme and Institute Policy. The appointment is for a period of 12 months on a contract basis under the Govt. of India's Residency Scheme and does not vest any right to claim permanent absorption or continued contractual appointment. Private practice of any kind is prohibited.
