The AP Power Sector AEE 2026 selection is entirely merit-based through a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks and 3 hours duration. There is no interview stage . After the CBT, candidates shortlisted in a 1:1 ratio against vacancies are called for Certificate Verification, following which the final selection list is prepared and allotments are made. Salary & Pay Scale – AP Power Sector AEE 2026 Remuneration

Candidates selected under the AP Power Sector AEE Recruitment 2026 will be placed on probation for 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years . During this probation, all selected candidates across all five utilities receive a fixed consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹75,000 . After successful completion of probation, the regular RPS-2022 pay scale becomes applicable. Selected candidates in Electrical posts (across all utilities) must mandatorily work in field postings - preferably in rural and remote areas - for a minimum of 5 years from the date of initial appointment . For APEPDCL AEE (Electrical), the first 5 years include 2 years in MRT/Construction wings and 3 years in Operation/Office posts in rural/tribal areas. Every candidate appointed under the AP Power Sector AEE Bharti 2026 must execute a Service Bond on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper worth ₹110 at the time of joining. The AP Power Sector AEE 2026 reservation follows vertical reservations for SC (Group-I, II & III), ST, BC (A, B, C, D & E), and EWS candidates as per applicable Andhra Pradesh Government Orders and the Presidential Order (AP Presidential Order 2025). Horizontal reservations of 33⅓% for Women and 4% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are implemented within respective vertical categories.
