The APEPDCL AEE 2026 selection is entirely based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) - there is no interview stage. The exam will be conducted jointly for APTRANSCO, APEPDCL, APCPDCL, APSPDCL, and APGENCO, and candidates selected will be allotted to a utility based on merit, reservation, and the preferences indicated in their application. There are no negative marks in the CBT. The CBT consists of 100 questions for 100 marks - the same pattern applies to all three posts (Electrical, Telecom, Civil). Candidates selected under APEPDCL AEE Recruitment 2026 will be placed on probation for a period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years . During probation, they will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹75,000 . After successful completion of probation, the regular pay scale will be made applicable.
