ARCI has notified 29 vacancies across six posts. Each post has its own post code, pay level and category-wise distribution. Posting for Assistant "A": 5 positions will be placed at ARCI-Hyderabad and 1 position at ARCI-Gurugram Office (NCR)-Delhi, Haryana. PwD reservation: out of the total vacancies for Technical Assistant "A", Assistant "A" and Technician "A", two (2) posts shall be filled by suitable candidates from Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/Divyangjan belonging to the OH/HH/VH categories.

Qualification and experience differ by post. Candidates should check the conditions for the post they are applying for. Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institute in (a) Materials Engineering/Materials Science & Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Materials & Metallurgical Engineering, or (b) Mechanical Engineering. Desirable: (i) Master's Degree from a recognized University or Institute in any of the above disciplines; (ii) one year experience in Research and Development in Industry or R&D or Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations. Salary will be as per government norms in the respective pay level (at the minimum pay level). Monthly gross emoluments include basic pay, DA, HRA and Transport Allowance as applicable. In addition to emoluments, benefits such as New Pension Scheme (NPS), Gratuity, Group Insurance, Medical Reimbursement, Children Education Allowance and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) etc. are available and will be extended as per prevailing norms.

Bank Transfer Details

Selection begins with preliminary screening/short-listing of applications by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority, ARCI. The Committee considers academic performance, relevance of experience for the post applied, number of years of relevant experience (based on data in the online application) and other parameters as deemed necessary. Screened-in candidates undergo a Computer Based Competitive Written Examination (CWE), followed by Personal Interview/Trade/Skill test (as applicable). ARCI may also administer any other selection method/tool/test at the sole discretion of the Competent Authority. For Officer "B", shortlisted candidates make a crisp presentation highlighting achievements across the broad spectrum of the work experience mentioned for the post, followed by a personal interview at ARCI, Hyderabad. The examination centre for CWE is Hyderabad only for all posts.
