Candidates applying for this recruitment must satisfy all three mandatory eligibility conditions notified vide Government Notification F.No.AR-33/17/2026-SECT-1-AR dated 26th August 2026. Permanent Residence Criterion: Candidate must be a citizen of India and an inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC). Selected candidates for Group-A posts (Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Veterinary Officer, Assistant Director-Sericulture) will be placed in Pay Level 10, carrying a pay scale of ₹56,100–₹1,77,500. The Dairy Development Officer (Group-B) post carries Pay Level 6, ₹35,400–₹1,12,400.

Selection is based on a Written Examination followed by an Interview/Viva-voce, as per the Scheme of Examination notified by the Administrative Reforms Department dated 24th July 2026.
