The written exam is a single Computer Based Test (CBT), objective multiple-choice type, for a maximum of 100 marks, with no negative marking. Junior Technician posts: CBT, followed by a qualifying Trade Test (Practical) at the respective AVNL unit. Merit is decided solely on Written Test marks; the Trade Test syllabus is per Annexure-A of the official notification. Junior Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager posts: CBT, followed by an Interview (50 marks, 15% weightage) assessing technical knowledge, prior work experience, initiative, and decision-making.
